Noisy Neighbor
Grand Teton National Park
A red squirrel chatters from a nearby roof line in Jackson, WY. A common sight in conifer forests, red squirrels will frequently use their chattering calls when they are disturbed because they are highly territorial. During the summer and fall, they are busy collecting and hiding a variety of seeds and nuts so that they have enough food stored away for the cold winter months.
