Prince of the Plains. Pronghorn buck in autumn.

Prince of the Plains

Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

A pronghorn buck stands watch over his harem nearby. An animal with excellent eyesight, pronghorn are often mistaken as an antelope when truthfully they are their own species with their only home in the plains of North America. Pronghorns have the longest migration in the United States, and with the ability to run up to 60 miles per hour they are the second fastest land animal on Earth only behind the cheetah.
