The setting sun paints waves of color across the sky along Nebraska’s Platte River valley as sandhill cranes continue to make their long journey north to their breeding grounds. With their 6-to-7ft wingspan sandhill cranes can fly on average 200 to 300 miles per day. During their annual migration with good tail winds their travels can reach up to 500 miles per day.

Photograph is printed on Lumachrome^® bringing high resolution, clarity, and vibrancy with an incredible 3D image quality that appears as if the photo is backlit. Print is face-mounted to a sheet of TruLife^® Antiglare Coated acrylic with a protective backing.
