The Continuous Search

Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

With fleeting daylight, a grizzly bear is on the continuous search for food. The bear is in a state of hyperphagia which is an increase in feeding activity driven by a biological need to fatten up before it dens for the winter. During the fall months bear will nearly eat and drink nonstop before they enter hibernation.
