Flatiron Sunset
Boulder, Colorado
Limited Edition: 750A summer sunset paints the sky with pink and purple hues over a symbol of the Colorado Front Range. The Flatirons provide an iconic backdrop for the city of Boulder. Five slanted sandstone formations which run north to south along the eastern slope of Green Mountain make up what is today known as the Flatirons, which are nearly 300 million years old. In the early 1900s these rocks were called the “Chautauqua Slabs” or “The Crags.”
